    Materials such as polystyrene, nylon, polypropylene and polythene can be used in plastic injection molding. These are thermoplastics, meaning that when they are heated and then pressured in a mold they can be formed into different shapes. On the other hand, wide varieties of metal alloys including steels, titanium, copper, nickel, and more are available for the metal injection molding.
